The Leander Arts and Film Alliance exists to make creative work possible and visible in Central Texas. We bring artists, filmmakers, educators, students, and community partners into the same room, then help them build something that outlasts the meeting.
Our work runs year round. The Leander Film Festival is our most visible program, but it is a means, not the mission. Revenue and attention generated by the Festival fund the education, public art, and storytelling work that continues the other fifty-one weeks of the year.
Leander Arts and Film Alliance is a Texas nonprofit corporation 501(c)(3) status pending.
We promote arts, culture, and creative expression across Central Texas by creating platforms where local work gets seen, discussed, and taken seriously.
We support young artists and filmmakers through supplemental programming built to strengthen what schools already offer, not compete with it.
We preserve and promote the history of our region and the voices working here now, so the record of Central Texas creative life is kept by the people living it.
We back projects that put creative work into shared spaces and give residents a way to tell their own stories about this place.
We connect artists, filmmakers, educators, and community organizations to each other, because the most durable projects here start with a partnership rather than a plan.
